Community Groups hold down the work that the SCGX aims to accomplish. They are groups based in non-profits, businesses, neighborhoods, or clubs communities.

The SCGX is looking for 10 Community Groups to steward 1 of the 10 SCGX Sites.

Responsibilities

15+ people committing to clean up for the 2-3 hour event and do the following:

• All participants register for the event
• Pickup and Return litter pickup materials for the site—gloves, trash pickers, trash bags,

Site Captain

Appointed by Community Group to perform the following

• Verify collected litter by weight or # of items colelcted—recommend delegate help within Community Group
• Manage and distribute SCGX Rewards
• Photo document collected litter
• Proper disposal of collected litter from SCGX Site
